They get their coffee from Exe Coffee, which I think does the best coffee in Exeter. Better than 18g in my opinion. I lived in New Zealand so I like my coffee strong and smooth. Their sandwiches are really good too - good portion and price. Lovely people too!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, we really appreciate it!
Sarah's coffee is brilliant and she always makes us feel welcome. Service with a smile :-) The food has always been good. A simple no fuss lunch menu.

Thank you Charlotte! We hope to see you all again soon
Never misses. Lady that runs the place is lovely. Although haven’t seen her much of late. Food is fantastic, fresh and get a sense of care and consideration when they put your sandwich together! Absolutely love this place!

I ordered 4 platters of sandwiches for an event in RD&E hospital. The quality and service I received was second to none, the proprietor Mathew even carried everything to my car. The fillings were delicious and I had so many compliments and enquiries regarding the food. Gone are the days of spending fortunes in M&S on mediocre sandwiches. Thank you very much!

Absolute gem of a place. Discovered in passing a few weeks back and have been meaning to visit since. Bright and welcoming atmosphere; cosy and surprisingly private feeling regardless of its small size. Staff are friendly and cheerful with a nothing is too much trouble demeanour. Menu is wide without losing focus, and as a bonus the sandwich I fancied was made to my requirements. I don't know whether it was on the menu as I was offered whatever I liked instantly, giving me the impression that fantastic customer service is not an extinct create but very much alive and well here. The perfect local cafe serving excellent food, cleanly, quickly and with an obvious pride in providing the best experience possible. I absolutely love and recommend this place, and would gladly drive an hour to eat here. The coffee by the way is divine. Support this place because it really is a rare find. You'll not be disappointed.Lovely cafe, great coffee & wide tea selection. Handmade sandwiches however you like them are perfect. Dog friendly, lots of fuss made of ours.

I'm blown away by this place, and I've been to over 12 cafes just this year alone. Sat inside the welcoming atmosphere with a tasty beverage and accompanying biscuit I found myself drifting into a blissful state of deep mindfulness and enlightenment. I became aware of the true meaning of the universe and my place
in it, but sadly forgot before I could write it down. I will definitely be back for another taste of Nirvana.- Service

Well not quite lunch but late morning cuppa and flapjack on our way walking Back from the City. A nice friendly tearoom and a welcome rest. We regularly take their used coffee grinds for the garden. And the local cat is often just outside asking for attention.

Also the ppl/service are so lovely and you can tell it is really a local community shop, with many regulars laughing and chatting. I highly recommend!- Food

Thank you Ariana. Enjoy your hiking!
This is a really nice, "understated" place to have a coffee, sandwich and cake. As a migrant from London, I always appreciate a good flat white coffee, and this little cafe certainly delivers that.

We stopped by yesterday for a latte and cinnamon swirl/bun. I actually bought it for myself but ended up sharing it as you do, because it was so delicious!!! Smooth coffee and light a pastry. Lovely bit of art on the top of the coffee too. Super duper service too. Thank you!

Thank you Rebecca! It's really nice to hear such good feedback. We hope to see you soon to serve you more of your favourite sandwiches!
Visiting a local school from South Wales, I stumbled across this little cafe, ironically, looking for Waitrose cafe shop. Thank goodness I did, super friendly, lovely coffee and cake. If I'm ever back, I know where to go. Fab. Thanks.
